NOTHING MOVES YOU CLOSER TO GOD THAN READING AND ENGAGING WITH THE BIBLE. 

It's true, and we could list hundreds of real-life examples -- examples from people in our own church -- that would prove it. But you don’t need us to because you already know it’s true. We've heard this message for years in many cases: reading your Bible will grow your faith.  Yet many skip it, saying it's too simple, or conversely, too intimidating.

We're not just talking about reading your Bible, but also engaging with it: exploring it, being challenged by it, and reflecting on its implications for your life.

That’s our goal with our weekend messages. We believe in sound, Biblically-based teaching that helps you not only grow closer to God, but also gives you the tools to go deeper on your own.

HOW DO I ENGAGE WITH GOD'S WORD?

Don’t overthink it.

Open your Bible (or Bible app) and read. Pace yourself, as it’s not about reading a lot, but instead about engaging with what you’re reading. Ask yourself some questions, such as:

• What does this mean?

• What does this tell me about who God is?

• How do I feel about what Scripture is saying here?

The aim is to digest what you’re reading so that God’s Word becomes rooted in you (and you in it).
