Parent workshop: A Christ-Centered Legacy
Thanksgiving and Christmas are typically filled with great anticipation and excitement. They also seem to be just busy enough, just stressful enough, sometimes overwhelming enough and sometimes disappointing enough, that to add new traditions, or even create change seems like an impossible task through the twinkling lights.
On November 22, the Tree House Children's Ministry comes alongside you as parents to offer some practical and simple ideas on how to create Christ-centered traditions in your Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations that will leave a legacy in your kids' lives.
Join us in the gym during the 9:15 or the 11:00 service as we find teachable moments in some of the traditions you may already have. We also hope to introduce you to some simple, fun ideas that help focus the holidays on the humbleness found in the birth of a newborn king!
Cost: free! Please register by emailing Rhiannon Rutledge, rrutledge@fiveoakschurch.org.
