Food Trucks Onsite for Fall Kickoff This Weekend!

September 12/13 marks our ministry year kickoff. The start of a new school year means a return to more predictable schedules, football of many kinds, a fresh start in our ministries ... and food trucks at church of course! Join us for a food cart on Saturday after the service. On Sunday, we will feature the Tot Boss food truck and the Free Indeed food tent, featuring Five Oaks’ own Brian and Rachel Fizel’s strawberry smoothies and gluten-free mini donuts.

All-Treehouse Training

Anyone who is teaching or assisting with 2’s through fifth grade classes this year should attend our mandatory all-Treehouse training. Two dates: Saturday, September 19, 10-11:30 am, OR Wednesday, September 23, 7-8:30 pm. Please RSVP to Cindy Yarrington at cyarrington@fiveoakschurch.org.

September Help Needed!

This month is a great time to find out if you would like to serve in First Impressions...by serving in First Impressions! We are having our ministry outreach event at the end of September, which means that we could really use help until then to fill our empty spots. If you would like to help out, and see if First Impressions is a good fit for you or your family, please contact Carol Jorgensen, cjorgensen@fiveoakschurch.org.

Now’s the Time to Sign Up for Fall Small Groups

Our small groups are a great way to connect with new friends, deepen your relationship with God, and impact our world through acts of compassion. Many Five Oakers who participate in a small group find that their small group becomes their church family. We have three ways to sign up or get more info ... you only need to choose one: Fill out a card at the Small Groups ministry cart on the Ministry Wall during weekend services; send a small group leader an e-mail, from the Small Groups catalog, also on the ministry cart; or email the church office: groups@fiveoakschurch.org.
