Fall Fun Fest features free fun, friends, & fr-eats!
This carnival-style event, geared toward pre-K -- grade 5, will feature Minute-to-Win-It, cake walk, face painting, crazy hair, plus NEW this year: giant Jenga, donut on a rope, mountain dice, and prize wheel, to name a few. November 4, 6:30 - 9 pm. Free fun! Invite your neighbors! We’d love your help at this event — serve with your family if your kids are “too old” to participate. You'll find that serving in a capacity that is the right fit for you doesn't feel like work, but instead feels like a natural place to help others. We have many places to serve at Five Oaks, both visible roles and behind-the-scenes capacities, something for everyone.

Join our mission (membership) class this weekend
Membership is important at Five Oaks. Child dedications are coming up November 19+20. If you are interested in having your child dedicated, please make plans to attend our mandatory child dedication class on October 30 during either services in room 101. Dorothy Day serving opportunity November 5
Saturday, November 5, is a great chance for you and/or your family to be the hands of Jesus by signing up to help prepare and serve a meal at the Dorothy Day Center in St. Paul. Volunteers aged 13 and up are welcome! Time: 9:30-1:15. Write “Dorothy Day” and your email address on your Communication Card, or email Tim and Cindy Wiant at dorothyday@fiveoakschurch.org. You must sign up and get a confirmation for this event.
Proposed by-law change up for vote at the Annual Congregational Meeting
We will be voting on a by-law change at the Congregational Meeting on November 20 at 4 pm. This by-law change can be read on the Five Oaks website at fiveoaks.church/governing-board-elders. Copies of it are also available at the Information Center (formerly Guest Services).
