In our Story of God class, you’ll learn how the Bible fits together to tell one story and how you fit into God’s story. You’ll connect with others from Five Oaks in a cohort setting where you will get real, honest answers to your bible questions. Financial Peace University: find freedom right in the middle of your budget
The stress of holiday spending, saving for college and retirement, and staying within your budget can be magnified this time of year. Financial Peace University can help change how people frame their budget conversations, get out of debt, and start a real emergency fund. FPU starts January 14. , 9 am in room 101. Rooted Women: Kick off 2018 at the TABLE
After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, take a break and join us for January's TABLE! Enjoy a morning with other women and take this opportunity to love one another and flourish together as we create a setting of honesty and a community of joy. Join us in worship, engage in fellowship and guided conversation as we share a meal. Come hungry for God's Truth and be with fellow Rooted Women as you take time to discuss what God is saying in your life. Dorothy Day serve opportunity January 6
Most of us don’t worry about when we’ll eat again or where we’ll sleep at night. This is an opportunity to step outside that comfort zone and serve those whose basic needs for food and shelter aren’t guaranteed. If you are 13 or older, consider joining us to prepare and serve a meal at the Dorothy Day Center. January 6, 9:30-1:15. Email dorothyday@fiveoakschurch.org to register. Student Ministry meets on Wednesdays
Middle and high school students, join us Wednesdays 6-8 pm for a time to hang out, worship, hear a message, then spend time in discussion groups Our Youth Café is open selling dinner, snacks, and drinks.
