Tough questions about faith welcomed here
Most people find the Bible confusing, even lifelong readers, because most of us don’t understand how it all fits together to tell one story. In Story of God, this six-week experience will offer you a knowledgable framework for the Bible, help you read it with greater understanding, and make room for your tough questions. Not only can you expect honest answers, but also you can look forward to a practical, realistic approach to reading the Bible for the rest of your life. This is a great way to connect with others in your Story of God cohort, too. Show up this weekend to hear more details on Story of God. For more info on classes starting this fall, please visit storyofgod.church.

Is your family disconnected?
Summer is almost over. Do you feel like you’ve been on the run and haven’t been as connected with your family as you want to be? At Five Oaks, we believe you as parents play the most influential role in the lives of your kids. We are here to help resource you so that you can build meaningful relationships with your kids and thrive together spiritually. As you prepare for the school year, stop by our Family Resource Center to pick you your child’s next Phase Card. Our Family and Discipleship Team staff will be there to support you and guide you to helpful resources.
We can do more together

Help us come alongside a young family in need as we paint the exterior of their home and do a light landscaping transformation. The father in this family was paralyzed and left with a brain injury early in 2017 when he was involved in a tragic car accident. Your help with painting, yard work and light carpentry will help lighten the burden for this family. Saturday, September 22, starting at 7:45 am, at their home in St. Paul. Anyone is welcome to join us — men, women and kids ages 12 and up. Click here for more details and to register: https://goo.gl/forms/cCJBUg3KJUh2BXhO2
Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack: YOU can help Five Oaks make a difference!
At Five Oaks we know that you want to be a difference-maker and not a spectator. Creating change is within your reach! Join us as we partner with Feed My Starving Children and our entire community to help pack Five Million Meals at HealthEast Sports Center in October. This is both a great opportunity to serve as a family —ages 5 and up are welcome— and a chance to reach out to your friends and neighbors. Inviting them to join you is an easy way to involve them in what is important to you. Help our Five Oaks community create hope for children across the world in desperate need.
