Weekend of April 27+28

Do you love kids? Come take a peek this weekend

Do you have a heart for kids? Maybe your own kids are grown, so you’re not really sure what happens down in Five Oaks Kids? Join us May 4+5 for a volunteer open house in Five Oaks Kids so you can see for yourself.

A great option is to plan to arrive 30 minutes before any of our services and see our weekly group huddle and training time. Or, just stop by at any point to poke your head into our classrooms and experience the fun kids are having while learning about Jesus. And – bonus – treats for all who stop by! No need to pre-register. We’d love to add you to our team as a “regular” or as a “sub.” Stop by and see if Five Oaks Kids is a good fit.

Join our mission (membership)
Membership is important at Five Oaks. It’s a way of saying, “I want to be part of the mission of this local church.”  If you have a personal relationship with Christ and have completed Story of God (the class or in your small group), make plans to come to the next membership class on April 28, 9 am, in room 102. Walk-ups are welcome!

Does your family life feel frantic?
For kids and families, summer is a change of pace between the phase you’re in and the one that’s coming next. We want to help you make the most of the time you have this summer to connect as a family and move forward together. Join us for our Parenting Journey Classes in May. We’ll explore the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of your kids so you can have more meaningful connection as a family.  These classes are all free.
