2 easy ways to brighten your summer
Remember when summer days were filled with bike rides, summer camp, lemonade stands, and VBS? This is your chance to make those memories stick for kids! Two painless ways to help out:
•Summer will feel even more summery when you volunteer at ROAR Vacation Bible School, June 10-13. Your commitment? 8:45 am-12:15 pm. Many kinds of roles available – both in the mix with the kids and more behind the scenes. Please click here to sign up for a VBS role. •We could also use your help over the summer in Five Oaks Kids on the weekends. Even just 1-2 weekends will help our team and make those kids smile, This weekend during services, you’ll receive a Five Oaks Kids Summer SERVE brochure with all the options. Milestone classes: Baptism and communion next weekend
Families – we want to help you feel equipped to journey with your child/student as they move toward the milestones of Communion and/or Baptism. We’ll explore the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of your kids so you can have more meaningful connection as a family. These classes are all free.

Pastoral residency candidate update
We prayerfully narrowed the pool of pastoral residency candidates and interviewed our top three. One of these candidates has bubbled to the top. Summer with Five Oaks Students
The last week of Five Oaks Students is May 22 – coming up fast! And so much to look forward to this summer! We’ll start with a Summer Kickoff Party on June 12. On Wednesdays from 6-8 pm, we’ll gather for summer parties, lessons on big questions students have, and serving our city. All current 6-12th graders at are invited!!
