Ready — Set — Go! Where is Jesus taking you?

On Impact Weekend in March we introduced the Impact Journey, and 200 of you picked up Impact Journey Passports filled with great Impact ideas.  Many of you are making good progress! If you didn’t get a Passport, you can pick one up at the Impact Center. We want to help you and your family create change and share Christ’s love on this journey, so this weekend you’ll have an opportunity to get information about and explore upcoming Ready-Set-Go Passport opportunities via text. Jesus promised to be with you always on this journey. Where might he be taking you next?

Ask Pastor Henry all your questions this weekend
If you’re new here, you may wonder how best to get connected. We have a simple first step, called Pizza with the Pastor. This one-hour lunch with Pastor Henry will allow you to ask any questions about Five Oaks and get you started connecting with others. FREE childcare and a FREE pizza and salad lunch. Sunday, May 19, after the second service. Walk-ups are welcome! Hope to see you there.

Milestone classes: Baptism and communion this weekend
Families – we want to help you feel equipped to journey with your child/student as they move toward the milestones of Communion and/or Baptism. Join us for a class to help you engage in meaningful conversations with your child on May 19 at 9 am, room 101. Walk-ups are welcome!

Family Worship Weekend + Summer Serving in Five Oaks Kids
On the weekend of May 25+26, we will have a Family Worship Weekend. Kids in grades 1-5 will join their parents in regular family worship. Also, we are still seeking a few more friendly faces to jump in this summer in Five Oaks Kids. Even just a couple of dates will be a big help to cover vacations for our regular teachers and helpers! Please message Kelly Bauman on Realm with your availability, or click here to email Kelly.

Ever wish you could stop time?
For kids and families, summer is a change of pace between the phase you’re in and the one that’s coming next. We want to help you make the most of the time you have this summer to connect as a family and move forward together. Join us for our Parenting Journey Classes in May. We’ll explore the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of your kids so you can have more meaningful connection as a family.  These classes are all free – two classes remain!

Pastoral residency candidate update
We prayerfully narrowed the pool of pastoral residency candidates and interviewed our top three. One of these candidates bubbled to the top & is visiting at Five Oaks this weekend as part of our process. Please join us in praying for him, his wife, and our church as we explore this possible partnership over the next two years toward church planting or revitalization. Want more info on the process? Please message Jonathan Haage on Realm, or click here to email Jonathan
