Vacation Bible School: Kids are priceless to God!

Your kids will want to join the fun at our in-person VBS, June 21-23, to learn how they are treasured by God as he knows, hears, comforts, and forgives us. To ease social distancing with this large event, we’re offering a choice of the morning (9:15-noon) or afternoon (1:15-4:00) session. VBS is open to children ages 3 years old by September 1, 2020 and potty trained, up through third grade. Register now at www.fiveoaks.church/vbs.

Parents who serve at VBS may bring their kids free of charge! We’d also love help from middle and high schoolers, too! You can choose just one shift or all the shifts on all the days! Click here for more info and to sign up to help.

What is ‘Secret Church’ – ?
What if following Jesus were illegal where you live, which in turn meant you had to walk miles to find other believers? You’d likely spend hours together praying, worshiping, and studying God’s Word. Secret Church simulates this reality for persecuted Christians. Join the national simulcast on Friday, April 23, 6 pm – 12 am, at Five Oaks, as we worship, study, and pray for the persecuted Church. This year’s theme is The Great Imbalance. Interested? Email impact@fiveoakschurch.org to receive a registration link.

Seniors and families: Join us for our Senior Send-Off
With graduation right around the corner, we want to honor all of our Five Oaks seniors with this important milestone! Seniors and their families are invited to join us for our Senior Send-Off on May 15, 5:30-7:30 pm at Five Oaks. Dinner’s on us! Please register by May 7. You can do so by clicking here. Please also send us a digital copy of your senior picture (in JPEG format, largest file possible) and a note about your post-high school plans. These items can be emailed to Peg Benson, pbenson@fiveoakschurch.org, by April 29.

Ladies: IF:Table is back! Deep discussion + fun!
Do you miss meaningful, in-person conversations with other women? We will discuss monthly questions that lead to heart-level conversations about life and Jesus. Options available on May 22 include: 4:30-5:45 pm with Five Oaks Kids programing, OR a longer gathering starting at 6:00 pm and staying after for fun together! Mark your calendar for May 22 at 4:30 pm or 6:00 pm. To sign up, put “IF:TABLE” on your connect card and we’ll send you a registration link. Questions? Please email theresa.gulsvig@gmail.com.

Global 6K: your friends will love this event
Our goal is to have 30 percent of our Global 6K Team from outside of Five Oaks. Why? It gives you the chance to invite friends into what’s important to you. It gives your friends the chance to show compassion in a polarized world. Your help keeps children from missing school and dying from dirty water. Each registration provides clean water for one person FOR LIFE. The Global 6k is May 22 at 8 or 10 am at Colby Lake Park. Register here: www.fiveoaks.church/global-6k. Save $10 with the promo code fiveoaks.

Want to help out at the Global 6K?
Join us to create a fun atmosphere for our Five Oaks/World Vision Global 6K Event on Saturday, May 22! You can volunteer whether or not you're participating in the 6K, and you can help before OR after the event if you are walking/running it. Please click here to see all the opportunities available and find a role that works for you!

Middle school: Camp Getaway is coming soon!
We’re getting more excited for Camp Getaway as the weather warms up! We don’t want your middle schooler to miss out! At camp, June 8-13, your student will learn about Jesus, the gospel and how it impacts their story. We’ll have loads of fun, create lasting memories, make and deepen friendships, and have an action-packed week for six days at Camp Arrowhead! Click here to sign up and watch last camp’s highlight video! Questions? Please email Kyler Albert, kalbert@fiveoakschurch.org. Friends are welcome, too!
