Do you have an important mother figure in your life?
Moms play an important role in our lives, from a hug and a kiss for a skinned knee, to plodding through math homework with their kids, to helping raise grandchildren, and everything in between.
We know that the person you call “Mom” might be your mom, or she may be a stepmom, an aunt, a grandmother, or even a caring neighbor. Mark your calendar for Mother’s Day, on May 9, and bring that mom-type person to Five Oaks with you. We have some treats planned and an open-air Covid-friendly photo booth on tap. (Note: we’ll have treats on May 8 as well, but the photo booth is reserved for May 9 only.) Show Mom how much you love her on Mother’s Day at Five Oaks!
Vacation Bible School: Registration closes April 30!
Your kids will want to join the fun at VBS, June 21-23, to learn how God knows, hears, comforts, and forgives us. To ease social distancing with this large event, we’re offering a choice of the morning (9:15-noon) or afternoon (1:15-4:00) session. VBS is open to children ages 3 years old by September 1, 2020 and potty trained, up through third grade. Register by April 30 at www.fiveoaks.church/vbs. Parents who serve at VBS get to bring their kids free of charge! Questions? Email Kelly Bauman, kbauman@fiveoakschurch.org.
