Let’s pray for our seniors!

This weekend during worship services, we'll honor all of our Five Oaks high school seniors as they prepare for graduation and the adventures that await them beyond the doors of high school. Some of these seniors have grown up at Five Oaks, and others have joined our church family more recently. Please join us in praying for these young people in the months ahead as they go off to college, to the military, to work, or to embark on a gap year. We’re proud of you, Class of 2021!

Do you like being a little creative? join us this Sunday!
How would you like to help us implement a plan for creating the VBS decor and decorations? We have a variety of projects that need willing hands – you don’t even have to be artistic! Join us on May 16 starting at 1 pm in the gym. We always have fun and would love your help! Interested? Email Kelly Bauman, kbauman@fiveoakschurch.org. Bring a friend!

Online worship services moving to 9 am only
We have loved seeing so many of our church family back to our in-person worship services in 2021. But, we also want to continue serving our online community, and serve you while you are out of town! Starting the weekend of May 29+30, we will livestream and host the 9am service only. You can still access our livestreamed services on demand at any time on our website, YouTube, or our online platform,
www.fiveoakschurch.online.church.

Huge impact, small investment
Did you know you can make a huge impact on a hard-working foster family by volunteering only one hour every other month?  Just join a meal team and take a store-bought meal to a foster family in Washington County. Interested? Text Juli Servatius at 651-206-9034 or email impact@fiveoakschurch.org.

FCA Camp is coming to Five Oaks!
Students finishing 4th to 7th grade are going to have a blast
at FCA Camp this summer, July 6-9, playing games, learning new sports and discovering how we can PURSUE Jesus in all that we do–school, family, sports and play. This camp is for kids who love sports or who just love to move around. It’s highly interactive with the same station style as VBS. High school/college students can volunteer to be Huddle or Station Captains, and Middle schoolers can volunteer as Junior Captains. Campers will get an FCA t-shirt and Bible, and a snack each day. Bring a water bottle and come ready to play outside! Click here to register now in Realm. Questions? Email Kyler Albert, kalbert@fiveoakschurch.org.

You like to be helpful. And you like a party.
The Global 6K for Water on May 22 is an event you won’t want to miss! (See details, above.) In order to make it run smoothly, and to maximize the fun at the party following, we’d love your help! Already planning to participate? You can volunteer either before or after your scheduled time to run or walk. This is also a great way to get involved even if you don’t plan to run or walk. Interested in helping us peg the fun-o-meter for this event? Go to www.fiveoaks.church/global-6k.

Middle and high school students: You can run, but you can’t hide from Henry Michael and Kyler this summer
Even though the pace of life is slower in the summer, we still want to connect with you middle and high schoolers for some fun, activities, and a study over the summer! More details to come, but look forward to campfires, night games, worship, a movie night or two, and some time spent in the Word on Wednesdays. Our schedule will be lighter, so stay tuned for dates and times!

Ladies: IF:Table is back! Deep discussion + fun!
Do you miss meaningful, in-person conversations with other women? We will discuss monthly questions that lead to heart-level conversations about life and Jesus. Options available on May 22 include: 4:30-5:45 pm with Five Oaks Kids programing, OR a longer gathering starting at 6:00 pm without child care included, and staying after for fun together! Mark your calendar for May 22 at 4:30 pm or 6:00 pm. Click here to sign up, put “IF:TABLE.” Questions? Please email theresa.gulsvig@gmail.com.

Students: Do you need volunteer hours?
Hey students, here's some volunteer work to help you meet requirements or to beef up your resume. The Five Oaks Foster Family Meal program needs volunteers to deliver store-bought meals, maintain an electronic inventory record of items available to help foster families, or shoot and/or edit a video. Time commitment: about one hour per month. Interested? Text Juli Servatius at 651-206-9034 or email impact@fiveoakschurch.org
