Faith milestone celebration this weekend!
This weekend our worship services will look and feel a little different from a typical week. You may notice we have more visitors and more elementary-aged kids present in worship. This is because we’re celebrating the important faith milestones of family dedications and baptism this weekend. We love to watch God work in the hearts of our Five Oakers who are ready to publicly proclaim their salvation in Jesus by being baptized. We also love to watch our church grow as our families grow, and we are honored to join with families in dedicating babies and children to our local church and to Christ’s church. Join us as we promise to come alongside these families in these important faith milestones. We praise God for the seeds he sows in our church family!

Register now for summer camps with Five Oaks Students!
This summer we’re offering a variety of opportunities for our students and our leaders to dive deeper into relationships and God’s Word through summer camp. We do this because the time spent in community and with godly adults in a week of camp equals an entire ministry year of Wednesday night programming. Time to register for VBS and FCA camp!
In the summer something huge takes place here at Five Oaks! The whole church is transformed into a place where kids of all ages come to engage and encounter God and his community in a life-changing way at Vacation Bible School (VBS) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) camp! VBS runs in the morning and FCA in the afternoon of July 10-13. VBS is open to current ages 3 years old through 3rd grade. FCA sports camp is open to current 4th - 7th grades. Ladies: join us for Walk + Talk in May!
Looking for an easy way to connect with other women? Come join the fun! We’ll divide into groups of 2-3 women and take a card with conversation starters as we walk. Not interested in walking? Come anyway! Thursday evenings in May at 6 pm. Meet at Edgewater Park at Colby Lake, 3100 Edgewater Drive, Woodbury. This event is for all ages (18+ please) and all walks of life. Questions? Connect through pickleball!
As a community, we value having fun together and being active. One way we do that is by playing pickleball in our gym, and we have time slots almost every day of the week. Never played or a beginner? We have time slots for you. 55+? We have time slots for you. Women only? We have time slots for you. Interested in Story of God this summer?
Our Story of God class is a 6-week journey through the Bible. Taking this class will help you read the Bible with greater understanding and help you see how the Bible fits together to tell one big story. Supporting our Global Missionary Partners in the Middle East
One of the many challenges that our Global Missionary Partners face is the loneliness and sense of isolation that can come from leaving family and friends behind to serve Jesus in another country. Emails and Zoom calls can help, but it’s not the same as face-to-face contact and conversations. To that end, a group of Five Oakers will be traveling to the Middle East at the end of April, to connect with the missionaries we support there. The goals of the trip are to express support for these partners, to see and hear about the challenges they face, to pray with them, to seek out new ways we can support them, and to return with a revitalized passion and vision for loving and caring for these partners.
