Silent Auction runs this weekend and next
What will you find? Maybe it’s kayaking down the St. Croix, free Culver’s custard for a year (yum!) fly fishing with Pastor Henry, MN Twins tickets, or simply a date night to a fun restaurant, our annual Student Ministries Silent Auction takes place this weekend and next weekend in the Commons. Your bidding efforts will help our 7th-12th grade students get to the Challenge Conference in Louisville this July. Thank you in advance for your support. This trip is often one of the most pivotal faith-growing experiences for high schoolers at Five Oaks, so please bid early and often!
Mandatory VBS volunteer meeting this weekend

“Making Summer Count” workshop for parents
Parents! You are invited to join us for this spring parent workshop on May 22, during either the 9:15 or the 11:00 service in the gym. Led by Rhiannon Rutlege and John Eiselt, this workshop will offer fresh ideas on how to make the most of your summer with hands-on ideas and activities. Everything from rainy days to fun in the sun... from family activities to date night... even road trips to stay-cations! No need to RSVP.
Got grocery bags?
If you have extra paper grocery bags at home, please consider donating them to Five Oaks. We plan to transform them into rocks for the Cave Quest VBS set. Please drop them off at the Guest Service desk until May 29.

Global Leadership Summit
GLS is returning to Five Oaks again this August, but this year as a private site. This change will allow all of us to experience the great leadership teaching, and Five Oaks staff will cover the basic volunteer stations. GLS will look much the same inside our building as it always has, but we are not an advertised site for people outside our church family. Thurs. & Fri., August 11/12, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Cost: $89. Overeaters Anonymous/H.O.W.
Our church hosts an ongoing OA/H.O.W. group on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This meeting is always open to new members looking to free themselves from the burden of compulsive overeating.
