New here? Join us for Pizza with the Pastor this weekend
If you’re new here, you may wonder how best to get connected. We have a simple first step, called Pizza with the Pastor. This one-hour, sit-down lunch with Pastor Henry will allow you to ask any questions about Five Oaks and get you started connecting with others at our church. FREE childcare and a FREE pizza and salad lunch.  Sunday, April 8, after the second service. Hope to see you there.

Bring a friend and your favorite mug. To RSVP, please message Kristin Sellers on Realm.  You also may get more info at the ministry cart in the Commons this weekend.

Looking to serve as a family?
As parents, you want to model serving to your family.  We have a simple serve option that fits the bill.  We have openings at all three services for communion preparation.  The bread and juice are already prepared - we just need help with setup in the Worship Center.  Serve during regular worship times once a month.  For more information, please email Jennifer Clemens.

Team World Vision: run for clean water
Join Team World Vision by running a marathon to bring clean water to communities in Africa. In the past four years, our Five Oaks team has raised funds to supply clean water for over 1000 people in Africa. Most of our team members are first-time runners. If you are curious, or just looking for a good cause for your running efforts, stop by the ministry cart in the Commons after services this weekend.

Connections team: now “hiring” some key volunteers!
We have openings on three different teams. We’d love for you to join us if these fit your passions and interest!
•If you’ve ever been told you’re a natural host, we need you on the Info Center team! This is a great way to get to know new faces at Five Oaks while serving. We have both Saturday and Sunday openings for a once monthly serve.
•We’re also looking for White Glove team members. This involves light cleaning and organizing prior to weekend services. If you appreciate the “final touches” in life, this would be a great role for you. Also a once-monthly serve.
•It can be a little intimidating when you first visit a church and don’t know what to expect, so our Concierge team is ready to help first-time guests have a smooth visit.  They are the folks you see each week by the “New Here” sign who help check in kids, offer free drinks and answer questions for our visitors.
To volunteer or for more info on any of these positions, please email Jennifer Clemens,  or message her on Realm.
