undie sunday starts this weekend!
Imagine being in a season of life when you can’t afford the basics of clean socks and underwear. For the last several years, we’ve partnered with The Drawer, a local nonprofit that strives to provide warmth and dignity by providing new socks and underwear to those who need them. Between July 13 and August 4, you can help simply by picking up an extra pack of new socks and/or underwear and dropping them off in the commons. Questions? Next week 200 kids will descend on Five Oaks and learn about how they can dive into friendship with God at Scuba Vacation Bible School. We are always so grateful for this opportunity. For some of the kids attending, this may be their first time hearing the gospel. Please pray for young hearts to be open. FCA Camp also happens next week at Five Oaks! This event is four days of high-impact for kids and students in 4th-7th grade to learn about Jesus through various sports activities. We often have a lot of Five Oaks families involved, but we also see lots of kids from the community join us that week. Will you commit to praying for the hearts of our campers next week? Join us in praying that kids will see how much God loves them and how they can be on mission for him even while training and competing in their favorite athletic activities.

Ever considered Saturdays?
We are experiencing a season of growth as a church! And we know that we all want to continue welcoming and discipling new folks. For that reason, we will launch a fourth worship service beginning September 7. We will have two Saturday worship services, at 4 and 5:30 pm. Calling all incoming sixth graders!
Your 2024-25 6th grader is invited to join the student ministry summer hangout program on August 7 & 14 from 7-9 pm. This is a great space and place to invite other new sixth graders, too. Summer programming is an informal, open house style where the students can freely participate in activities such as gaga ball, volleyball in the gym, pick-up soccer, throw a football, or kickball. Restock the shelves at a local food shelf
For over 30 years, Friends in Need Food Shelf has been serving our neighbors in St Paul Park and the surrounding community with much-needed food and other household supplies. Demand is high, and they are in regular need of supplies to keep their shelves stocked. It’s super easy to help. Can you drive a bus or van?
Hope Academy is looking for bus and van drivers to support its extracurricular activities. This is an ongoing need for the school, with no set dates and times for the upcoming fall. Please pray for our Panama Team!
Praise God! We have a team of 36 Five Oakers traveling to Panama in late July. Our multi-generational team (21 adults and 15 students) will serve the people of Panama alongside missionaries from Word of Life Panama and Filter of Hope. The primary way you can support this team as we send them out to serve and to experience the greatness of our God in another culture is through prayer!
