Fall: family ministry and small group opportunities!
As our church continues to grow, so do opportunities to get connected to authentic community and grow in your faith. Fall is a great season to join a small group! Most groups meet in homes 1-3 times per month and focus on studying scripture, prayer, fellowship, and almost always involve food. Want more info? Follow the QR code below or put “small groups” on your connect card. This weekend is also a big one for families with kids, middle and high school students! In addition to kids moving up to their next grade-level classroom, our Family Team has important info for this ministry year available to families. Stop by their table in the commons between services to see what’s new! For more info on small groups, click here. Questions about Family Ministry? Email Kelly Bauman.
We’re moving on UP!
This weekend, all students will move up to their next grade-level classroom. We’re planning some big fun and games for this “UP”-themed weekend! This is also a great time to invite friends or new families who might be interested in finding a new church. Our teachers are looking forward to seeing your kids back for the school year! Questions? Email Kelly Bauman.

Healing from betrayal trauma for women
The pain and trauma created through sexual betrayal is devastating, but healing is possible. You are not alone…being able to process your experiences in a safe, grace-filled place — and working at a pace that encourages self-discovery — will empower you to make strides in your healing and equip you to make informed decisions for your future. We have a group starting this fall. If you have experienced this type of betrayal in your relationship, consider this path of healing in your life. We know this is a sensitive journey , so we have a specific way to reach out to our women’s group leader who has experienced this journey. Email puredesirewomen@fiveoakschurch.org and our Pure Desire leader here at Five Oaks will reach out.
